Ramp Up Report
Over the past 3 days, initial testing successfully delivered 500,000 paid ads which were randomly distributed over our network through websites that get more than 10 hits in 1 day. During the testing the only problems were commission reporting which was promptly corrected. A member actually pointed out another commission payment reporting issue that was also corrected. Apart from commission reporting bugs that were squashed, the delivery of the ads was completely flawless.
On the latest re-run of the spider (the NetAudioAds spider) 51,000 porn sites were discovered and removed. Hate sites were also discovered as well as many sites that were spotted due to a “tightening” of the quality control algorithm. Larry Host of NetAudioAds reports that he anticipates that close to 1 million websites will be banned from running audio ads over the next 7 days. Some of you have probably seen some websites that used to be there have suddenly disappeared… here is your culprit.
It is vital to the NetAudioAds upcoming BPA audit (on 2/22/2008) that they scrub porn, hate and crime type websites as well as websites that use questionable tactics to obtain traffic (bots, auto surfs, etc.).
NetAudioAds will send the robot out one more time before ramping up. Due to the sheer size of our network (yours, mine and NetAudioAds) Larry anticipates that it can take up to 1 week for the robot to finish the crawl. The robot will be on a seek and destroy mission (as stated above) the mission is to get rid of sites that our advertisers DO NOT want under any circumstance.
Be prepared for more of the same over the next 7 days. Just a trickle of ads will play while the robot goes to work cleaning up our network for the BPA audit that should (fingers crossed) give us all a pay raise. The pay raise will be possible because we can demand a higher price based on BPA verified numbers. There is no other online media source (that plays audio) ads that is 3rd party verified. This is a strong selling point for those of you that are selling advertising (or thinking about it).
As stated above, after everything is said and done, after 1 week we will see up to 1 million websites go away. You should be happy about this because it gives our network more value to advertisers. More value = more money. We are working hard to make this a win – win for all parties involved.
After the robot crawl comes to a wrap, the floodgates on advertising will open up. Larry was not able to give me exact numbers yet but he anticipates the daily volume after the robot crawl could be as high as 2 million to as low as 500,000.
The reason for this weird staggering is to further ensure system integrity as we move to “all systems go”. If NetAudioAds were to open full throttle and somehow miss a tiny bug then we would all have a disaster on our hands. Take pride in the fact that this company is being cautious. We are all vying for our share of millions and millions of dollars in ad revenue. You helped to build this and own a share of it now we must protect it at all costs.
Here are some exciting stats…
With current advertisers on board we have the ability to serve 7 – 10 million ads per day, 7 days a week.
The NetAudioAds servers are clocking 9,000 hits per second triggered from audio ad code in our distribution network (very impressive)
My next project is to develop an easy system to bring on advertisers. The advertising side of NetAudioAds is new to me. As we learn it then we can all brainstorm on ideas in the forum. This is a wide open and untapped market… I’m still waiting on my advertiser package. If you haven’t signed up to bring advertisers on to this network then you should strongly consider it. Yes it is in its infancy and we have to build it just like we built the distribution network.
I don’t want anyone to misunderstand what I just said. Do not speculate that NetAudioAds doesn’t have a bunch of advertisers. This is far from the truth. As stated, NetAudioAds has the ability (at full throttle) to serve 7 – 10 million paid ads per day. In real US dollars this represents up to $200,000 per day being spent by advertisers and we will all be getting a chunk of that action as our reward for building this network.
We actually did too good of a job because with the current size of the distribution network we have the ability to serve up to 9000 paid ads per second. That’s 3 quarters of 1 BILLION per day reach …
For those of you that are new here it took us just over 3 months to do this. Many new advertisers will begin their campaigns when we are at full throttle. We have a large team of sales people that are already working the largest names in advertising. All of us have the same opportunity to earn massive income by lining up ads. What is the income potential if you line up a $1 million advertising contract? How does a nice $300k commission sound?
What is surprising (well not really) … NetAudioAds is becoming the talk of the advertising town in a good way. It won’t be long before we are able to fill 750 million ad plays per day. Now is a good time to claim your share of the advertising pie or at least start thinking about it.
That’s all I have for now … there won’t be much news over the next 7 days … robot crawling and bug squashing and trickles of ad plays and revenue.
